If you’ve ever though, a toothbrush cap is the solutions you are wrong.
Keeping your toothbrush above the sink or even in a cupboard, you are exposing it to bacteria and microbes. Even if you have thought of a toothbrush cap could be the solution – you are wrong.
How to keep your toothbrush clean effectively?
The best and most important thing you can do is to keep your toothbrush out of the reach of bacteria. Warm and moist places help bacteria to grow and spread. The first thing you should do is to leave the toothbrush to dry off completely.
Before and after use thoroughly rinse it with warm water. You need to do this so you can clean the toothbrush from dirt. This goes for the handle as well – always wipe it out after use. Make sure there aren’t any remains from old toothpaste.
How to disinfect the toothbrush?
If you feel that your toothbrush needs additional disinfection, you can sink it in a mouthwash. Use the mouthwash for your toothbrush and leave it for around 15 minutes. Then thoroughly clean it with water. Make sure you remove it after 15 minutes as this can damage the toothbrush.
The electric toothbrushes can be tricky to clean as well. The spot between the head and the handle of the electric toothbrush can be the perfect spot for bacteria to grow. In order to prevent this, you must separate the top part of the toothbrush after use and thoroughly clean that part.
It can be a good idea to keep both parts separated until they are fully dried off.
Teeth care is very important for our overall health. So make sure you do everything in your power in order to keep your mouth and teeth healthy and protected.
